Director of Branding-HSO Marketing-Mount Sinai Hospital-Full Time-Days
Position Summary:
The Director of Branding will serve as the primary advocate for Mount Sinai Health System’s brand, overseeing its evolution, implementation, and consistency across all touchpoints. Reporting to the Senior Director of Branding, this role requires a strategic leader who will manage brand initiatives, engage stakeholders, and ensure the alignment of brand standards across the organization. The Director will work closely with internal teams, creative professionals, and brand consultants to strengthen and expand Mount Sinai’s brand identity, ensuring it resonates with employees, patients, and the community.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required, Masters degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience, 8 or more years’ experience strongly preferred, in brand management, marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of leading brand strategy and execution at a system-wide level.
Skills:

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,000.00 - $208,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Identity: Lead efforts to optimize and expand the Mount Sinai Health System’s brand identity, updating brand guidelines, assets, templates, and tools as needed.
Brand Consistency: Ensure the consistent application of brand standards across all organizational touchpoints, both internal and external.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, communications, and creative teams to refine and implement brand strategies, ensuring alignment and successful execution system-wide.
Employee Engagement: Foster brand understanding and engagement among employees, ensuring that staff support and embody the brand’s purpose and values.
Brand Communication: Develop and implement communication strategies to reinforce brand messaging across the health system, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Brand Support and Inquiries: Address day-to-day brand-related inquiries, including reviewing mock-ups, presentations, and brand usage questions.
Metrics and Impact Analysis: Track and report on brand performance, using data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of brand initiatives.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to internal processes to integrate brand values more effectively across departments.
Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Performs other related duties.
